Pesto Pasta Puttanesca Pizza

When I win some sort of lottery and open a vegan restaurant in Milwaukee, I hope that one of the specialties there is the Pesto Pasta Puttanesca Pizza®. All you need to make it is pre-made 7″ (or so) pizza crusts, pesto, and leftover pasta puttanesca. Leftover pasta puttanesca? What the hell? Yeah, leftover pasta puttanesca. Just look on VegWeb for a recipe for that, or make any kind of spicy spaghetti dish, really.

On a small pizza crust, I spread about 1/4 cup of pesto.

On top of the pesto, I added some leftover pasta puttanesca. Again, this could be any sort of spaghetti, vegetables, olive oil and spices and it would still be delicious.

Bake it in a toaster oven for about 10 minutes at 375º.

Oh my … I’ve branched out and had potatoes on pizza (look up the Irish Pizza on the blog Vegan Dad), but never pasta. This looks amazing.

Damn, that does look good. Pesto makes anything better, and this looks like a warm, sloppy, thoroughly tasty mess. Definitely adding this to our list; my wife and I are pizzaholics.

If you are pizzaholics, then surely have the pizza eating skills necessary to keep this sloppiness of this pizza to a minimum! :)
