Food Vacation

Rachel and I recently went on vacation to the west coast, flying into Seattle and taking a road trip to San Francisco, stopping at many places in between. We didn’t know what to do with all of the choices we had on the menus in the vegan restaurants that were EVERYWHERE out there. Living in Milwaukee which has ABSOLUTELY ZERO vegan restaurants, we didn’t know what to do with ourselves. We probably freaked out a lot of the people at the restaurants when we photographed the food they had just served us, but whatever. I’ve decided to post some of those photos here. Unfortunately, we didn’t get photos of everything we ate – not even close. Next time!

I would say that Seattle had the best food, though I would’ve guessed Portland before leaving. Either of those cities are great for vegan food, though. I wish I had photos of the AMAZING vegan pizza we had at Pizza Pi in Seattle. I think I’d probably gain about 100 pounds if Milwaukee had a pizza place like that.
